Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe receives state grant for 30-unit housing complex

The Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe has been awarded a $2.8 million state grant to build a housing complex on its reservation for tribal elders, low-income families and those who are homeless.
The tribe's Warrior Ridge Supportive Housing project is one of the 20 projects — and the only one in Kitsap County — that received a Traditional Housing Trust Fund award funded by the Washington State Department of Commerce.
